[vc_column][vc_column_text]It is with great pleasure that the Department of Chemical Engineering is announcing the appointment of Dr. M . Sam Mannan, Director of Mary Kay O\u2019Connor Process Safety Center of Texas A & M University as the First Holder of \u201cM A Naser Chair\u201d. The Chair is established by the BUET Chemical Engineering Alumni Association (ChEAA) at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka.<\/p>\n

The launching of the M A Naser Chair will be held on 26 December, 2015. A number of activities will be undertaken by Dr. Mannan during his tenure.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]TIMELINE OF MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF M A NASER CHAIR 2015<\/p>\n

• Two short courses\/workshops: (Participants: Design and manufacturing engineers, safety personnel\/practitioners and chemists from Academia and Industry)\n
